Domino Towers

I was gong through the drafts on the blog and found this one that I had uploaded the pictures a couple months ago and then hadn't written on it so I decided to do it today. Momma and us kids are here in CA right now. I am really tired because this morning Winston woke up early and  I woke up- it was about 6:30 am and I couldn't go back to sleep because of the time difference. Yesterday I had to wake up at 4:30 EDT (1:30 PDT) because we had to leave at 6 for the airport. The drive from the bay area to  my grandfathers house is 4 hrs. I didn't go to sleep till  1:30 EDT (10:30 PDT) so I was awake for about 20 hrs. I am SO tired. Enough about that, on to the post. The photo above is from 2009. William and our 2nd cousin, Nate built a domino tower 14 stories high (it might have been higher).
William was practicing for his domino tower at thanksgiving by building his own. This one is only 8 stories high this time. William and Nate actually didn't get to build one this year for two reasons. First, there was WMD (Winston of mass destruction) to knock down all of their attempts to build a tower. Second, Nate had just had surgery on his shoulder so he wasn't really any help. William did  get to build a house out of domino's for all of our second cousins ( just the girls, the guys were too busy watching football:))

These pictures were from my literature fair this morning. Studying Truett Cathy's life was my research project.
I put this on a post about a month or 2 ago, but some of you might not have seen it- I just think that it is cool. I made it on paint.     ~Sarah Gray

More pics

Does he look like Winston at all?
These are some more old photos that I found.

This is really gross, all though it's only a cheerio:)

This was on Halloween night and William had gone a an M&M.

I liked babies a lot back then- I still do.

Pilots and Gardeners?!?

When we tell people we have a hangar, their first question is, "What kind of plane do you have?"  Well, we don't have one yet, but that hasn't stopped William from flying - a kite, that is!

Despite the wintery cold weather, William had his kite out for awhile the other day.  There's usually a pretty good wind around here. Winston enjoyed watching!
The white cones that you can see in the distance are for the runway.

Winston loves being outside and so does William.  Unfortunately, William is not always the best babysitter.  I came out to this the other day.

He had pulled out EVERY single pansy from the planters!

And he was pretty thrilled about it!

We had a dusting of snow the other night.  It made the red mud a lot prettier!

Our view out the living room window toward the road/runway.

P.S. I don't know what happened with the order of pictures.

He was looking in the mirror at himself while I was taking the picture.

Workman in Progress

I had to hold them on his head because they are so big.
Today I put Daddy's safety goggles on Winston.

Our first dinner!!!!

WE ARE  NOW OFFICIALLY MOVED IN!!!!!!!
We moved in on Saturday (with the help from some people from church). We had 1 Penske truck and 5 pickup trucks full of stuff. It was mostly furniture but we had some other stuff, too. We slept here Sat. night and Winston actually slept all night long:) Oh, yeah!!!
