Callaway Gardens

 By Sarah

At the end of Feb we went down to Callaway Gardens because Jan and Feb are the months where you can go for free.  The picture above ↑ was taken right after Winston stood on the edge of the dock and decided to pull his pants and underwear down and do his business into the lake...
I really liked taking pictures in the butterfly house. It seems like I took more pictures of the plants in there than the butterflies!!

I thought these flowers were cool

This was my favorite plant/flower of all of them!

I went outside the butterfly house and took these next few pictures

I saw this and thought it was really neat

Georgia Aquarium

We had a great time at the Aquarium yesterday!!

"Deep-o" is the Aquarium mascot.  A play on the fact that the President and Founder of the Aquarium is Bernie Marcus - one of the co-founders of Home Depot! :)

We all loved everything, but Winston was terrified at both of the shows that we went to.  One was a 4D movie and the other was the very good Dolphin Show (make sure to show up early to get a seat where you can see everything!)

Sarah took about 100 pictures of all the different fish we saw.  We'll just post a few :)

Winston really liked seeing the fish!

Baseball 2012 Parade

Waiting for the parade to start
 By Sarah

A couple weeks ago was William's Opening Day for Baseball with a parade and then later that day, his first game of the season.

New Job, Old Job, New Job

This is Caroline on the first day of her job.

Caroline worked for two weekends at the Grill in the museum near our house last February.  Unfortunately, we didn't realize when she started that she would have to work every other Sunday - missing church.  So, she had to quit.  But she is now employed every other Monday afternoon as a babysitter.  She's counting her nickels and dimes to buy herself a camera like this one  Not sure how long that's going to take!

The Perfect Organism

Hey it's Sarah. I was going through all the drafts of our blog and found this one. We finally got rid of this Rosemary bush because the scent was attracting some scorpions. It took my dad about a day to cut it down. The main 'trunk' was about 3-4 inches wide. This is what my mom had written in the earlier post.

We planted a tiny little Rosemary plant off the back patio about 5 or 6 years ago. It has grown - and GROWN! We finally decided that it had outgrown it's location. Spence liked to call it the perfect organism because you couldn't kill it, but he has subdued the earth and conquered it.

~SARAH GRAY~

Postscript.  I guess you'll end up with a few "oldies"  I'm going through old drafts and this was still in there - from Sept 2009!  It's still a cool picture.
