Here's the one-year picture with the quilt......a little late. :)
Yesterday we took care of two three-year-old friends, so everyone was everywhere! Winston really likes going outside, so when he saw that the back door had been left open, he jumped at the chance. No one saw exactly what happened, but the next thing we knew, he was on the back porch crying. We went outside to see what was wrong and discovered that he had skinned his forehead......just in time for one-year pictures! Figures.
Momma smocked the outfit. She was borrowing one similar to this one from a friend, and she liked the pattern so much that she wanted to make one of her own. Another friend had given her a jumper for her to smock for Winston's birthday pictures. She had been having a hard time deciding what to smock, so it worked out really well! She sat down with both outfits and copied the stitches from one onto the other. She did that for a while, but then had a little bit of trouble and started writing it out. Two of the airplanes and most of the clouds were done without a written pattern.

The Birthday Boy!!!!!!
Guess who? (Sarah, AGAIN)
Grandma and Grandpa came yesterday to celebrate Winston's Birthday and the small part of his present was a
"My First Sports Bag" it had a Football that squeaks, a soccer ball which makes noise when dropped, a basketball which rattles, and a baseball that crackles. Winston has a blast pulling them out of the bag, then playing with them. This was the only good pic that I could get of him looking and all the balls in the picture.
Caroline is having a Speech and Debate banquet and I am making rice, so I better go make it.
