Future Chelsea Footbal Team

Here are the boys in their new "kits." William put it on as soon as he opened the box yesterday and Winston was dressed soon afterward! William has it on again today - complete with socks in 95 degree weather!

THANKS, Dawn!

Whose house is this anyway?

It certainly can't be mine. It's far too uncluttered and CLEAN!

This little house has a new home!

We had the playhouse moved yesterday and it went off without a hitch - for the most part, at least!
It was pretty harrowing to watch them wench it up on the bed of the truck. It lurched around a bit on the way up!

But they were able to get it moved without any apparent damage except to the trim piece that runs down each of the corners. Should be pretty easy to replace that.

The last picture is the view of the playhouse from our new front porch. I'm sure it will see lots of use in the coming years.

Helping out in the kitchen

Our "Weapon of Mass Destruction" has been at it again. This time he found the package of 500 napkins that was in the hutch. I think he pulled almost all of them out!

Aviation Camp for William

William spent every morning last week at the Candler Field Museum attending Aviation Camp sponsored by the Museum of Aviation in Warner-Robins, GA. He did a great job, had a great time and wants to go back next year. I guess it shouldn't have surprised us that among the 20 children aged first to third grade, he scored highest on the "quiz" they gave of airplane parts and he also made the plane that flew the farthest! They used household items to build their plane and had to "buy" the items from the teachers with money they had earned answering aviation- related questions.

This photo is of him with his teachers and the balloon that he skewered with a stick!

Cow Appreciation Day

Who can pass on free food? :)

We dressed up as cows and get free Combo meals at Chick Fil A. Even Winston got in on the action!!

You have to be dressed from head to toe, and we only had a few hats, so I got creative and used a couple of the bazillion CFA cows that we have around the house!

Oops!

Not sure what Sarah was doing, but the last post went out as a dud!

Here are some pictures of our new house from the AIR!

Yesterday, Sarah and William got a flight in a Piper Cub and then William and I got to ride in a 1929 Curtiss Robin and I had my camera with me.

Our place is on the bottom of the photo - near the cul-de-sac. The Candler Field Museum is at the top of the photo. And the runway is the green down the left side.

You can see the lake that we'll be fishing in and the walking path behind our house. We're hoping it will be about 8 weeks until we're able to welcome you to our new home.

Birthday Fun!

Grandma made a special "Fresh Strawberry Cake" for the celebration that we were able to have at their house with Spencer's brother Nathan and his daughter, Leighton. FUN TIMES! Of course, Grandpa's yard (and some of the flowers in it) have lost their luster after the beating they took because of William's Mario Andretti-style golf cart driving.

Time for some summer hairstyles. William's is here to stay for awhile. Winston's, in contrast, was quite short-lived! You can just see the top of the ponytail sticking up on top. :)
