How Did THEY Get in Here!!!!!

 Caroline got this scarf for Christmas and my Grandmother put it on Caroline and then Winston wanted to put it on. The jewels are a choker that she put it on her head.

Birthday Weekend

Dining at Red Robin

The first time we've had to wait at RR

William didn't get a "party" this year.  Instead, his friends, Luke and Andrew came over for a sleep-over.

Rounding out the night with ice cream at Cold Stone Creamery.  This little girl joined right in on the party.  They were all dancing around the store together while Spence and I finished our ice cream.  She wanted in the picture, too!

They rounded out the day with an exploration in the woods with Spence.  They were out in the cold for at least 45 minutes and crossed the stream 5 times.  As Luke said when they returned, "That was really fun, but kind of scary."  They spent quite a long time playing with the balloons that we got at Red Robin.  The goal was to keep them off the floor.  It was very loud, but they sure had fun with their made up game! 

William finished out the day with one of his favorite meals - chicken and yellow rice and brownie trifle for dessert!  All in all, a good day :)

Falcons Game

There are a few advantages to having Home Depot as your third home - Free Falcons tickets.

This fall if you purchased over $300 on one receipt, you could send away for two tickets to see the Falcons.  We picked the last regular season game against the Carolina Panthers on January 2nd.

Spence ended up in Accra, Ghana, so I got to take William.  We had a GREAT time.

We started out with lunch at The Varsity.  William chose a Glorified Bacon Cheeseburger and an FO.  For those not fortunate enough to have eaten at The Varsity before,  that's a Bacon Cheeseburger with lettuce and tomato and a Frosted Orange - kindof like an Orange Julius.  I drove through the Arby's drive thru beforehand since I've vowed NEVER to eat at The Varsity again!  He LOVED it. :)  I even got him to practice saying, "What'll you have?"

 We hightailed it over to the stadium, but still missed the opening activities and kickoff.  We found our seats.  When Spence asked later how our seats were, William quickly replied with great excitement.  "They were four from the top!"  Really good seats to a six year old.

He held up this sign between almost every play.  He really wanted to make it on the big screen, but we were too high up for them to see him. 

William informed me that he "knows a lot about football."  And he did really good - even predicting what the flag on one of the plays was for! :)   I'm sure he'll be asking to go again next year. 

Lego Marathon

We (William, Momma, and Me) had a 'Lego Marathon' as my mom called it. We made all the Legos that William has. It only took about 2-3 days to make all of them. They are to many to to put them all on the mantle. So now most of the cars, trucks, buildings, and planes are on the mantle and all the 'personal paraphernalia' as William calls all the people and their accessories.

Motherly Love

I found this picture from a few weeks ago. My mom and Winston had just taken a shower and she wanted to get a picture of her new robe she got for Christmas. Winston got this towel from a friend as a baby gift.  Winston just got the curls cut last week:( Everyone at church said that he looked so much older, and that he does. I will try to post some pictures of the new hair cut this week.

William's Birthday

 William is turning 7 on the 22nd of this month. My Grandma was here a few weeks ago and we wanted to celebrate early with her. I made the cake and Caroline decorated it. William wanted strawberry cake and 1/2 chocolate icing and the other 1/2 vanilla icing. Strawberry cake mix was too expensive. So we got some white cake mix and added strawberry pie filling. Very creative. 

Momma's idea:)! He got a Lego game called Creationary. It is Pictionary except with Legos. It is actually pretty fun and hard too. It is not only a kids game but adults can play it too (they might be a little bit better).

 He wanted a Lego seven on the cake.
