Spence and I took William down to the new house today to do some more work and we were surprised to see an electric meter. When we went in and flipped one of the circuit breakers to "On" - lo and behold, some lights came on!!! YEE HAW!! Georgia Power came through and we have POWER!!! We were expecting it later in the day, but we'll take it whenever they want to turn it on.
I got Spence to snap this shot of me because I needed to have a record of my "painting" clothes and you get a chance to see our kitchen - complete with LIGHTS!
While we were busy painting (me) and connecting the toilet (Spence), William kept himself busy by cutting down a Sweet Gum tree with a hand saw and then cutting all the branches off and cutting the trunk up. Here he is - complete with the bike helmet that he wore the whole time he was working. (The work was interspersed with roller blading!)
Looks like we achieved the trifecta after all - Running water, a working toilet and ELECTRICITY - just in time for the bonfire and hayride tomorrow night. And the weathermen are predicting a cold night, so the fire will be just the thing!

Such a Cutie Pie
Sarah here again. Sorry this one (above) is a little bit blurry but you can still see that Winston is so cute:}
I can't take credit for these pictures because Caroline took them.

I wonder what he was amazed at maybe that Caroline was taking pictures of him when he was NAKED!!!
I think that this is Absolutely ADORABLE!!

Funny Faces
Sarah again. Winston usually won't smile for the camera long enough for us to take this many pictures.
When one of us asks Winston 'Do you love me?' He will do the "lip". I know most of you have seen the "look" and you get a kick out of it. We get a kick out of it too. Here is a post with Winston doing the "look" if you haven't seen it.
In most of these pictures you can see the spots on his front teeth. I think that we are going to have them filled when he is older and will sit still:}

The Deed is Done!
Sarah always likes to start her posts with "Sarah, here." So, I guess I'd better start with "Carrie, here." :) The title of the post refers to the color of the main room in the new house. It's a big room - kitchen, eating area, living room, and 2 halls. So we deliberated long and hard about what color to use. Thanks to Laura, we were able to try lots of samples (shown in an earlier post). We ended up using "Tea Light." Spence voted for the Man Color - BROWN. But since it's mostly my "office," I overruled and picked yellow. It's a nice happy color. I just hope we like it, because there are 2 beautiful coats on the walls now!!
We have doors now!!! Lots of pocket doors - shown above without the trim. And lots of swing doors. The one below is shown from the inside of the girl's room. It's the biggest door in the house - 3 feet. The rest are smaller and go all the way down to a 2 foot pocket door for the shower room (2nd to last picture below).
The success of today was largely due to JOHN!!! We had to call in a professional to fix the ceiling in the main room (it looked like it had stripes!!) And while he was there, we figured we'd better just have him keep going. He painted the main room and the boy's room. YEAH!! Of course, helper, William, also pitched in today - sweeping up sheetrock dust. Do you think he looks like an alien?
The photo above is the kid's tub/shower. Good thing they aren't big kids, because there's not lots of room in there! :) The photo below is the whole hall/kid's bathroom. There are 2 sinks, a room for the shower (on the right) and a room for the toilet (on the left). The idea was to have it as useable for 4 kids as possible. The toilet room floor is wet from where I had to sponge mop it in preparation for the flooring. The plan is that Spence will be able to put in the flooring and the toilet before the bonfire this weekend. Keep your fingers crossed! :)

Purple Mustache?
Who grows a purple mustache? Winston got the marker today and started drawing on his face. This is not a really good picture. I tried to take another picture, but he walked away:{

New Style!!!!!
Sarah blogging here. Caroline put this cereal box on his head about a week or two ago.
A few days ago my mom put this cracker box on his head. I couldn't really get a good picture of him.
He's so cute:}!:}!
Where's Winston?
Wanting a Back Massage Already:}
~Sarah here. Winston has not been feeling well lately. It started Monday night when he threw up about every 5 minutes:{ He would fall asleep on my mom and then start coughing and then throw up. He was okay yesterday, but didn't eat very much and threw up once. On Wednesday he was not his usual (running around, getting into everything, wanting to go outside, etc.). He would just lay on me for a while. I put him on my lap and he put his head in between my legs and I started massaging his back.~
